The turnover of the Mutandis Group specializing in household consumer goods amounted to 1.1 billion dirhams in the 1st half of 2023, up 8%.
The rise in prices and the evolution of the volumes sold by Mutandis allow a satisfactory increase in turnover for the half-year, with markedly improving margins due to the stabilization of the cost of inputs, explains the group in a press release.
In the second quarter of 2023, Mutandis achieved a consolidated turnover of 582 MDH, down 3% compared to the same period a year earlier, underlines the same source. By activity, “detergents” achieved a turnover of 336 million dirhams at the end of June 2023, up 2% compared to the first six months of the past year.
“Seafood products” generated a turnover of 249 MDH, down 2%, “food bottles” 165 MDH (-1%) and the “Fruit juice” activity 54 MDH ( +51%). In the first half of 2023, Season brand’s sales amounted to 296 MDH, up 26% compared to H1-2022. With regard to investments, they amounted to 101 MDH, while net bank debt stood at 954 MDH as of June 30, 2023, once morest 739 MDH as of December 31, 2022.
