Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has admitted that Barcelona was his favorite team in his childhood, pointing to his strong fondness for the legend Lionel Messi.
In an interview with the German newspaper “Bild”, Musiala confirmed that Barcelona was his favorite club at the beginning of his follow-up to football.

This comes shortly before Barcelona and Bayern play two very strong matches at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League.
Musiala said in his statements: “Barcelona was my dream team, I had a Messi shirt, as well as Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets who impressed me. I always saw their matches and now I can watch them many times.”

Musiala expressed his happiness at playing at the Camp Nou when the two teams meet at Barcelona, even though he attended his team’s match last season in the Champions League at the same stadium, which ended with Bayern winning 3-0.
But Musyala explains the difference: “The stadium was not full that day. Our next match will be different, it will be great for sure.”
