The professional team, Al-Taawoun, in its ranks, the Egyptian star Mostafa Fathi, drew 1-1 with its guest Al-Fateh team, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, as part of the 23rd round of the Saudi Professional League.
Al-Taawoun advanced with the first goal through Mostafa Fathi in the 27th minute of the match, with a powerful shot that hit the Al-Fateh defender, and into the net.
Mostafa Fathi’s goal against Al-Fateh is his fourth during the current season in the Saudi League, after joining the last winter Mercato from Zamalek Club.
Firas Al-Braikan managed to equalize the Al-Fateh team in the 36th minute of the match, and Al-Taawoun player Nawaf Al-Sabhi was sent off, in the fourth minute of the time instead of wasted for the first half.
In the second half, Al-Taawoun player Zee Lewis was sent off in the 49th minute, and Murad Patna, Al-Fateh player, was sent off in the 70th minute.
Al-Taawon raised its score to 24 points in the twelfth place in the Saudi League standings, and Al-Fateh raised its score to 28 points in seventh place, while Al-Ittihad topped the list with 54 points.
