The announcement of contesting the election together has been made after the meeting between the delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan and leader of Muslim League-N Nawaz Sharif ended.
Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sana and other leaders including MQM’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal were present in the political meeting.

He said that the overall situation of the country is facing a crisis, no single party can solve all the problems of the country, that is why a common strategy will be adopted in the elections.
Talking to the media, MQM leader Mustafa Kamal said that the situation in the country is not good at the moment, strong leadership can solve the country’s problems and Nawaz Sharif is one of the senior leaders.
Mustafa Kamal said that now any alliance will not be based on ministries but on solving problems, Karachi can play an important role in solving the problems of the country, Nawaz Sharif spoke about the people from Gilgit to Karachi.
He further said that MQM will get the position of 2013 once again, but Karachi is giving more than 60% revenue to the whole of Pakistan, so today Pakistan can not be taken out of the difficult situation by IMF but Karachi.
The delegation of MQM led by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui reached Lahore where they were received by the leaders of Muslim League-N.
In the meeting, the country’s political situation and the election will be discussed. Earlier, the spokesperson of MQM had said that Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Mustafa Kamal and Farooq Sattar will attend the meeting with Nawaz Sharif today.
It should be noted that yesterday Shahbaz Sharif contacted the convener MQM Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and invited him to meet Nawaz Sharif along with his delegation.
