International.- The American businessman Elon Musk has made a donation to a political action committee (PAC) working to re-elect the former president Donald TrumpBloomberg reports, citing sources close to the matter.

Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, gave an undisclosed amount of money to America PACbut the source revealed that it was a “considerable amount”.

Political action committees are organizations that collect contributions from their members and donate those funds to campaigns for or once morest candidates, ballot initiatives, or legislation.

The alleged donation comes just months following the tech mogul said that I would not spend money on either the Trump or Biden campaigns.

“To be very clear, I will not be donating money to any of the candidates for President of the United States,” Musk wrote on his X account in March. The entrepreneur also suggested that he might support a candidate “down the road.”
