Shadia, the sister of the artist, Samir Sabry, revealed the latest developments in his health, saying: “My brother’s condition is stable, and an operation will be determined for him within the next two hours.”

The statement issued by the Syndicate of Acting Professions affirmed his supportive stance for Egyptian art and artists, whose sponsorship he announced to reflect his enlightened vision of the role of the arts in advancing the culture of peoples and building the human being.
The statement concluded: “You have been a support and sponsor of creativity and creators, may God protect you for Egypt and the Egyptians.
