Indonesian solo pop, folk, ballad and acoustic singer and songwriter who is known for his songs that address humanitarian issues in Indonesia, including the oppression carried out by Indonesia in West Papua, the killings and enforced disappearances of people during the New Order regime and therefollowing, marginalized communities, and gender oppression.

Yab wrote the lyrics and entire story of Gaza’s Child as well as being the male vocalist on this song.

3. John Dave

Professional singer and songwriter from Australia. With 28 years of experience as a guitarist, Dave has been writing, performing and recording music for over two decades.

Dave has an extensive repertoire, having written hundreds of songs for various projects. His contribution to this collaboration was transforming Yab Sarpote’s lyrics into a beautiful song. Dave also wrote arrangements for guitar, bass and piano on this song.

4. Gabe Wolf

A very experienced audio engineer from the US who has worked on projects with some of the best rock music bands today, including Kurt Vile, Middle Kids, The Paper Kites, and many more.
