Musician Igor Orozovič releases his first author’s album. “I’m a peddler and I want to keep everything”

“I started a band because I wanted to sing songs. I told myself that I’m already a big boy and I could try other things in music and writing lyrics,” he explains. In which plays does he act with Iva Janžurová? What is their relationship with each other? What did he grow up on? What audiobook has he downloaded lately? When and where will he perform?

“I’m more interested in playing live, so mainly go to concerts. For me, recording music is more of a necessity so that the song can live on. Archiving songs is a good thing. As an actor, it makes me sad that you work on something, play it a few times and then it’s gone.”

“Theater, unlike music, cannot be recorded. It is here and now. Unable to archive. And I’m a peddler and I want to hide everything,” admits actor and musician Igor Orozovič.

The new album is called When a man takes off the darkness. “I don’t like putting myself in a box and saying what I play, because everyone imagines something different anyway. Every song on that CD has its own genre,” he concludes in Close Encounters.
