Fanny has many labels. In the past ten years, she has been active on the world stage and is the winner of many international percussion competitions. After taking up the role of conductor, she has performed with the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra in Germany, the Anhalt Philharmonic Orchestra in Germany, the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra, and the Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra. She collaborated with many orchestras and became one of the most active young conductors in China. At the age of 29, she became a distinguished professor at the China Conservatory of Music and led the China Youth Philharmonic Orchestra in the college to great success. She has both the tension and personality of a performer and the sense of responsibility and mission as a teacher.
The concert that night opened with the passionate Brazilian street music “Fred”, followed by the interesting percussion duo “One Body”, the thought-provoking environmentally themed music “Trash” and the passionate collision of classical and rock music ” “Chasing Shadows” were staged one following another. The performers’ skillful skills and exquisite coordination won bursts of applause from the audience.
In the second half of the concert, Fanny’s two solo pieces firmly captured the audience’s ears, “resonating at the same frequency” on and off the stage.
“In the first two performances of the season, I served as a conductor. This time I returned to my old profession and collaborated with my friends from the Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra in percussion concerts as a performer. I am very happy,” said Fanny. .
