The Worldwide Pageant of Patras “clothes up” the European Music Day with a mess of “Musical Tones” with a separate one live performance which is able to happen at 9.30 pm on Friday 21 June within the atrium of the flagship of the brand new city corridor of Patras
THE live performance consists of the presentation of an anthology of favourite songs, written by excellent Greek authors.
The music creation ensemble Evikoon Melos will be a part of forces with musicians from the local people, providing an unforgettable musical expertise, touring the viewers on distinctive musical paths
The composer and performer Iro participates within the live performance which has an extended monitor file in singing and two of one of the best choirs of Patras.
The multi-award profitable VelCantes (Parish of Agios Andreas Eglycada) with maestro Elena Droukopoulou and the fantastic vocal ensemble “CoroAvanti” (“Orfea” of Patras) performed by soloist Lina Geronikou.
In the course of the live performance, songs from all around the ages shall be heard, lots of which have “written” their very own historical past within the music scene. Compositions by D. Panton, N. Piovani, M. Theodorakis, Dinkjian – Nikolakopoulou, M. Plessa, D. Savopoulou, M. Vamvakaris, T. Mikroutsikou, M. Loizou, I. Carreno, will flood the forecourt of the brand new Metropolis Corridor of Patras, sending the message of peace, solidarity and tradition, which this explicit day stands for.
