People with diabetes have difficulty producing insulin normally and need to supplement it through injections. According to comprehensive foreign media reports, a study by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) in Zurich found that a protein was proposed from Escherichia coli to control the process of calcium ion influx into cells. Music helps design cells to release insulin

The research team implanted the cells into experimental mice and played different types of music in turn to observe the differences. It was found that rock music with heavy bass has the best overall effect. Among them, the famous song “We will rock you” by the “Queen” band can release regarding 70% of insulin within 5 minutes and fully release it within 15 minutes.

Restrictions are still multi-team: far from popularization
Although the research results reflect that music seems to help insulin secretion under certain circumstances, the research team showed that the implanted cells must be placed directly above the sound source, and there is still a long way to go before diabetic patients do not need to receive insulin injections. The team also emphasized that in order to popularize the research results, commercial incentives must be assisted in the process.
