As previously announced, the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Sirotaka, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu), held a special event in collaboration with the voice actors Yumi Uchiyama (Rudeus’s voice) and Tomokazu Sugita (the voice of his previous self).
During this event, a new promotional visual was revealed for the second season of the project, starring Rudeus Greyrat and a mysterious character with silver hair. In addition to the fact that the premiere remains scheduled for 2023, it was announced that, following conducting a new audition, Yumi Uchiyama will continue to play now Rudeus (Teen)and the actress shared a comment:
- «I am pleased to announce that I will be playing the role of Rudeus in the second season. Rudeus’s growth is a very important element of the play, so I am very proud to have been chosen following an exhaustive audition. I will take this sentiment to heart and cherish it when faced with the role of the new Rudeus.».
Rifujin na Magonote began publishing light novels with illustrations by Sirotaka in January 2014 through the publishing label MF Books of Kadokawaand finished it in November 2022. The manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa has been published since May 2014. The work inspired a twenty-three episode anime adaptation produced by Studio Bindunder the direction and scripts written by Manabu Okamoto.

- Kazutaka Sugiyama (Yakusoku no Neverland, Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai, Chainsaw Man) y Yoshiko Saitou (Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi, Shirobako) are in charge of character design and animation direction.
- Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Houseki no Kuni, Isekai Cheat Magician, Love Live! School Idol Project) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.
Sinopsis de Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation
Despite being bullied, scorned, and oppressed his entire life, a thirty-four-year-old hikikomori still found the determination to attempt something heroic, only to have it end in a tragic accident. But in a twist of fate, he wakes up in another world as Rudeus Greyrat, starting a new life as a baby born to two loving parents. With the mind of an older adult, he begins to display a magical talent that exceeds all expectations, honing his skill with the help of a magician named Roxy Migurdia. Rudeus learns swordsmanship from his father, Paul, and meets Sylphiette, a girl his age who quickly becomes his best friend. As Rudeus’s second lease on life begins, he tries to make the most of his new lease of life as he conquers his traumatic past. And maybe, someday, he can find the one thing he mightn’t find in his old world: love.
