Museum of Economics is open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The first Paraguayan Museum of Economylocated on Palma and Chile, in the Palacio Alegre building of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), opens its doors to the general public, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On its first day of opening, which was this Friday, the 9th, it received a large number of visitors who came to learn about the history and evolution of the Paraguayan economy, the institution reported.

The new cultural space, Inaugurated on Thursday with the presence of President Santiago Peñawas visited by a delegation of students from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina. The group highlighted the exhibition and information available at the Museum.

The Museum of Economics offers information related to the evolution of Paraguay’s economysuch as the role played by the former Ministry of Finance, now MEF, in the country’s economy.

It offers data on the main fiscal policy measures, displays details on the different offices of the Ministry of Economy, presents a gallery of Finance Ministers from 1969 to the present, among other exhibitions.

Visitors will also be able to see historical pieces that make up Paraguayan culture and economy.
