Museum founder Johann Feilacher brought art from Gugging to international recognition. The new director wants to build on this and create a “place of inclusion, participation and open discourse”. In addition to the artists from Gugging, there will be a stronger focus on international Art Brut artists in the future. Her professional path led her via the Kunsthaus Graz and the children’s museum FRida & freD to the Westlicht gallery and finally 13 years ago to the museum gugging.
