Montpellier Club announced, on Thursday, its contract with international striker Musa Al-Taamari, to become the first Jordanian to move to the French League.
Montpellier wrote on his official website: “An agreement has been reached for the arrival of promising Swiss international defender Bashir Omar Jaish, and Jordanian international winger Musa Al-Taamari.”
The club, which won the French League title once in 2012, added that the players come from Zurich, Switzerland, and Leuven, Belgium, respectively, and will join Montpellier in the 2023-2024 season, without indicating the value and duration of the two deals.
Al-Taamari, who will celebrate his twenty-sixth birthday on the tenth of next June, started his football career with the youth of Jordan in 2016, and stayed in its ranks until the summer of 2018, knowing that the youth of Jordan loaned him the 2017-2018 season to his compatriot Al-Jazira, and crowned him as a champion of the local cup competition and resolved with him.
