Shock for the residents of Murten FR: On Saturday evening, the cantonal police in Freiburg were called with a large contingent in front of Migros in the village – because of a bomb threat, as a Blick reader writes. The area was cordoned off, and around 7.30 p.m. the officers on site began searching the building, according to the reader.
In a message on Saturday evening, the cantonal police in Friborg announced that the operation was triggered following an anonymous telephone threat. The people present were evacuated from the cordoned-off area for safety reasons. Explosive detection dogs and bomb experts from the cantonal police in Vaud were then deployed to search the premises.
