Murders of homeless people: 17-year-old in custody – Austria

Vienna – On Thursday followingnoon, the Vienna Regional Court for Criminal Matters imposed pre-trial detention on the 17-year-old boy who had visited a police station at the beginning of the week and confessed to killing two homeless men with a knife and a woman without permanent accommodation in the federal capital last summer to have been seriously injured. Court spokesman Christoph Zonsics-Kral said the reason for his arrest was the risk of committing a crime.
