The alleged murderers were known to the victim and her family, who exchanged cleaning products with them for food.
A commission from the Criminal, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) managed to clarify the homicide of a woman with Down syndrome, who was killed with a tube when she was at her home in the city of Caracas.
Under an analysis at the site where the crime occurred, detectives verified that three subjects, who had known the victim, entered his house irregularly.
The investigation revealed that the trio regularly exchanged cleaning products for food items with the family of the deceased. So that day, they went there with the excuse of requesting water.
However, as soon as the residents were careless, the alleged murderers entered the building carrying a pipe and beat two women, including the lady who ended up dying due to the seriousness of the blows.
The men, who shortly following were identified by their nicknames as “el Chlorero”, “el Morocho Zapatero” and “el Virolo”, had murdered the female to steal the valuables that were inside the house. Once the homicide was committed, they wanted to get rid of the tube in a ravine in the area, according to Douglas Rico, director of the Cicpc.
But some time later the murder weapon was recovered and the suspects were apprehended.
“The arrests were made on the Old Caracas – La Guaira highway, Plan de Manzano sector, Sucre parish, Libertador municipality,” added Rico on his social networks.
