Microids announced that the video game The crime of the Orient Express will come out on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S et PC from October 19, 2023 and unveiled the contents of the Deluxe Edition.
Set in 2023, Murder on the Orient Express will offer a modernized and revisited version of Agatha Christie’s iconic plot. With new elements added to the original story, the game will bring this literary classic to life in a way that will surprise even the most avid fan.
The Deluxe Edition will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One as well as Xbox Series X and will include:

- A 48-page artbook

- An Orient-Express ticket bookmark
Murder on the Orient-Express is developed by Microids Studio Lyon, supported in the artistic direction by Cédric Peyravernay, a French artist who has contributed significantly to the video game industry, bringing his talent and expertise as a Character Designer to major projects such as Diablo IV, Prey, Dishonored 2 and Dishonored, or even two episodes of the Netflix series Love, Death + Robots. The 48-page artbook, available in the Deluxe Edition of the Murder on the Orient Express video game, will detail part of the work done by the artist on the character design.
A crime is committed on board the Orient-Express. Hercule Poirot, during this trip, turns out to be surrounded by a group of singular characters, all suspects, each with their own secrets and motivations, and will then try to elucidate the murder that has just taken place. Solving this mystery will not be easy and through many twists and turns, players will have to use their little gray cells, as well as their detective skills to disentangle the true from the false and bring to light the truth.
