As the days go by, new details of the murder of Edwin Arrieta have become known, and this week Big Joke, in charge of the investigation, revealed that the main reason for Daniel Sancho to kill the Colombian was because of the existence of some intimate videos of them with his family, which might cost Rodolfo Sancho his job.

“Those messages are not there because Daniel himself would have deleted it. The main reason for ending Edwin’s life was because of some videos of them with his family that might cost his father his job, ”he stressed on the En boca de todos program.
This Wednesday, August 23, in the same way, the head of the investigation announced that the remains of the health professional are ready to be sent to Colombia, stressing that they hope to do it as soon as possible.
“Thai police have confirmed that the body is now ready for repatriation. This has been assured by Big Joke: ‘I understand the need to do it as soon as possible’. The investigators consider that all the conditions are met to repatriate the mortal remains to Colombia,” Antena 3 initially indicated.
Then, he clarified: “These statements contrast with the opinion of the family, since according to their spokesperson, although they would like to bury him soon, they want Edwin’s body to be available to the agents until everything is resolved.”

It should be noted that the Thai authorities confirmed a few days ago that some parts of Arrieta’s body were still missing to be found, such as his torso, which is essential for the investigations of the case.
Teresa Bueyes, a famous Spanish lawyer, also pointed out this week that she was able to speak with a person close to the Thai authorities, who revealed to her how the confessed murderer of Edwin Arrieta’s reaction was.
“According to the reports that have been brought to us, Daniel is feeling a little better, due to the visits from his mother, his lawyer and members of the embassy. The defense of the Iberian chef does not lose hope of commuting the death sentence to life imprisonment, of which he would have to serve a minimum of eight to 10 years in a maximum security prison in Bangkok.
“We know that Thailand has never executed a non-Thai person, a foreigner, to death. We are going to try that Daniel is not the exception to the rule, we are going to trust and see what happens”, emphasized Carmen Balfagón, spokesperson for the Sancho family.
