Murder of BJP leader Ranjith: Four more arrests have been registered in the murder case of BJP leader Ranjith

Law enforcement apprehended four more individuals yesterday in connection with the slaying of BJP leader Ranjith. Saifuddin, a Valiyamaram resident and key conspirator, and Mohammad Badusha, a Punnapra resident, were taken into custody for supplying counterfeit SIM cards to the perpetrators.

Alappuzha: Authorities reported four additional arrests in the BJP leader Ranjith murder investigation yesterday. Saifuddin, from Valiyamaram, a direct participant in the plot, and Mohammad Badusha, from Punnapra, were detained for providing the accused with fraudulent SIM cards. Investigators are gathering evidence involving the main suspect in the SDPI leader Shane murder case.

Detectives apprehended two individuals directly implicated in the crime in Perumbavoor. On December 19th, a twelve-person motorcycle gang murdered BJP leader Ranjit. The investigative team concluded that outside assistance may have aided the suspects in relocating to more secure locations. The manhunt extended across multiple states, focusing on Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for several days.

Two killings rocked Alappuzha within a twelve-hour period on December 19th. SDPI state secretary KS Shan and OBC Morcha state secretary Ranjith Srinivasan perished. The first shocking incident occurred on Saturday night, December 19th. Shawn’s vehicle was struck from behind and subsequently attacked.

Shane underwent emergency surgery at a Kochi private hospital, but his survival remained uncertain. Ranjit was fatally assaulted by a group of people Sunday morning while going for his morning stroll. The assault transpired in Alappuzha city’s Vellakinar area. Ranjith Sreenivasan previously served as the OBC Morcha Alappuzha district secretary.
