Following the murder of a truck driver in Ambohimangakely last December, the gendarmes’ investigation led to two men and a woman in Toamasina. These individuals are the first suspects involved in this case. In the direction of Antananarivo, the driver of the truck saw a trio of hitchhikers and decided to get them on board. They then gave the driver a juice. Poisoned by the juice, the driver fell into a deep sleep and that’s when the robbers assigned stabs to his body. According to the information, these individuals wanted to seize the oil transported by the truck. But they did not achieve their ends since opening the containers requires codes to which they do not have access. The truck was found abandoned in Ambohimangakely with the body of the driver inside.
