The news program América Noticias broadcast exclusive images of the murder of two women of Ecuadorian nationality at the crossing of Jirón Zepita (Cercado de Lima), last Saturday night by assassins.

The security cameras of a store and of the Municipality of Lima record images of the last moments alive of Elvia Milena Alvarez Litardo (22) and Gabriela Beatriz Carranza Aveiga (32) also the moment in which they are attacked by two subjects on board a linear motorcycle.
At 9:45 pm on Saturday, February 19, citizen Elvia Álvarez appears and walks quietly through the corridors of said business and buys some candy. At 9:47 pm she goes to the register and the man who accompanies her pays her bill. The manager of the store as she knows her decides to keep the products purchased for her.
Later, at 9:51 pm, Elvia Álvarez leaves the store with her companion without imagining that she would later be attacked by hitmen.
Meanwhile, at 9:45 pm, another security camera placed outside the store captured the other young victim, Gabriela Carranza, with another woman walking along the sidewalk from one place to another.
Suddenly, another video shows that a motorcycle with two men wearing helmets to avoid being identified appears on the scene by the Chancay jirón. The co-pilot makes a gesture with his hands and following a few seconds the pedestrians start running scared due to the sound of gunshots.

Elvia Álvarez and Gabriela Carranza were riddled with bullets, and two people were also reported injured as a result of the hitmen’s attack. Both women were lying on the ground. The Police found 28 .380 caliber bullet casings for what would be a Glock weaponas indicated by the morning.
Minutes before this double murder, a security camera recorded when police officers, as part of their daily work, asked pedestrians passing through the area for documents.
The two subjects involved in the double crime would already be identified by the Police, the newscast added.
Collection of quotas
Colonel PNP Víctor Revoredo, head of the Dirincri Homicide Division, reported that the institution handles the hypothesis that the murder of two Ecuadorian women would respond to mafias made up of Venezuelan citizens dedicated to pimping that collect quotas.
“They did not want access to the criminal payment of foreign citizens. One of the main hypotheses is that foreign citizens of Venezuelan nationality dispute the collection of extortion from these ladies. They are groups that would have belonged to criminal organizations such as El Tren de Aragua, Los Malditos de Carabobo, among others,” she said.
