In mid-February, the cantonal police in Bern reported a fire on an Intercity. The train had to stop between Bern and Thun because the undercarriage caught fire. The police immediately began an investigation. According to a media release, she was able to stop a suspect and interrogate him in mid-March.
The interrogation confirmed the suspicion that the 22-year-old had interfered with the train’s bogie before departure. Now the man has to answer to the judiciary.
