It was all happiness for Argentina’s national team fans on July 4, as the Albiceleste managed to defeat Ecuador on penalties and advance to the semifinals of the 2024 Copa América.
The Argentine dream was on the ropes, since Ecuador ended up putting up more of a fight than expected and forced the win with a last-minute goal the penalty shots and then in the shootout, Lionel Messi missed his shot.
