The Municipality of Torreón has not considered the possibility of canceling early the contract of the company Promotora Ambiental de La Laguna (PASA), in charge of providing the garbage collection service in the city for almost 30 years.
Mayor Román Alberto Cepeda González said that they constantly review the conditions of the service that the concessionaire provides to Torreón, but it has not meant any problem for the administrationTherefore, until now, early cancellation of the contract has not been considered.
The mayor said that, even within his administration, it will not correspond to the revision of the documentbut this will touch the next municipal administration.
Cepeda González explained that the conditions and cleaning needs of the city are constantly changing, and to attend to them it is important to focus efforts to give precision shotsHence, timely monitoring of the activities carried out by the concessionaire must be maintained.
