Municipal suffers three expulsions, but rescues a draw once morest Mixco
Despite being left with nine players and without their coach, Municipal, managed to maintain a 0-0 draw once morest Mixco in the first final of Clausura 2024.

What should have been a football party, as it was the first final in the history of Deportivo Mixco, was marred by three expulsions that left Municipal con nine players y without coach on the field of the Santo Domingo de Guzmán stadium.
In the first time, Edgardo Fariñawas the great protagonist of social networks, and of the game, when he went viral for the inexplicable aggression he inflicted on the Mixqueño striker, Roque Caballero.
This meant the first red card for the reds, at minute 43, when Fariña hit Caballero with his elbow and following being excluded by the referee, Armando Reyna, returned to the field to hit Caballero in the head from behind.
Then, in the second half, things became even more complicated for those led by the Argentine, Sebastián Bini, when their player, Darwin Torres, while trying to cover the ball when it was regarding to go out on the touchline, seemed to hit the face, also with the elbow to one of his rivals from the local team.
In response, the entire Mixco bench jumped in protest, unleashing a new brawl on the field, which ended with a red card for Bini, who, in the replay of the play, is seen arguing angrily once morest Reyna for his decision to exclude Torres.
Thus, the scarlets will have to play the second leg at the Manuel Felipe Carrera, without Fariña, without Torres and without Bini next Sunday, May 19 at 2:30 p.m.
