MultiVersus: the shop and the guild still in development | XboxOne

The Smash-like from Warner Bros Games has met with undeniable success since its release in open beta at the end of July. New characters are regularly added to MultiVersus who launched his first season on August 15, but the development teams plan to improve other aspects of the game in the major update scheduled for next week.

Shop and guild are still under development

Since the launch of MultiVersus in closed alpha, the MultiVersus menu shows two grayed out icons being respectively dedicated to the guild and the shop. Despite a successful launch, players still wonder what these two still inaccessible sections are for. Game director Tony Huynh notably responded to fans on Twitter:

“The team is working to get the guilds and the store, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer. Our primary focus remains core systems, stability, and bug fixes. Next week’s patch will be one of our biggest, with lots of new stuff. We are getting closer every day. »

What is certain is that the first steps of Warner Bros in the sector of fighting games are rather assured and even mastered. The public is there, the formula seems to please and the long-term potential is undeniable with a host of characters from the Warner Bros universe to add to the current list. MutliVersus is now free to play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
