Switzerland picked up 2 bronze medals in rowing, at the Multisport Europeans in Munich. They were obtained in light weight by Andri Struzina in single sculls and by Jan Schaüble and Raphaël Ahumada in double sculls.
Outstripped by 9.39 seconds by the Greek Antonios Papakonstantinou and by 7.02 by the Italian Gabriel Soares, the Zugois Andri Strudina gave Switzerland its first medal in Munich in all sports.
As for the Nidwalden Jan Schaüble and the Vaudois Raphaël Ahumada, they were able to maintain the advantage over the Portuguese in a race won by the Irish ahead of the Italians.
