Multimedia | This camera intelligently optimizes the quality of your videos

(ETX Daily Up) – Microsoft launches its first smart webcam. Intended primarily for professionals, it allows real-time image correction and optimization during a videoconference, depending on the conditions and the number of participants.

The Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera is an extraordinary webcam, powered by artificial intelligence. For example, people who move while continuing to talk are automatically tracked by the camera.

In addition to automatic framing, the camera also offers the possibility of adjusting the focus on the various speakers, regardless of the brightness of the room. This webcam features a 4K ultra-wide-angle lens that covers a 136-degree field of view. It also incorporates an algorithm that allows it to automatically correct in real time the inclination or the distortion of the image.

This little gem has a price: 800 dollars. As its name suggests, this camera is primarily intended to accompany the Surface Hub 2, Microsoft’s giant interactive screen, the new version of which (the Surface Hub 2 S) is expected in the 2nd quarter of 2022 in the United States, from … 9000 dollars. Its availability in Europe has not yet been announced.
