Former England cricketer and current spin bowling coach of Multan Sultans, Alex Hartley, has revealed that he has started fasting while watching other players.
Alex Hartley recently revealed that she is fasting during Ramadan with the players of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 team Multan Sultans.
Recognizing the importance of Ramadan, Alex Hartley experimented with fasting himself.
“It’s the month of Ramadan and all the players are fasting, I want to feel how these people fast and play cricket in the evening,” she told BBC Five Live Sport.
Alex Hartley shared his daily routine while fasting and told what challenges he faced while fasting.
“I broke my fast a while back following fasting the whole day, eat some dates and salad, we eat at 4 in the morning and then starve for the whole day, nothing until 6:40 in the evening,” he said. Eat, it’s really difficult, very challenging.’
She said that she sleeps at 4 am and since the game starts at 9 pm, she sleeps throughout the day.
It should be remembered that in the final of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League, on March 18, Islamabad United will face Multan Sultans, who are playing the third consecutive final.
