Muller warns Barcelona and Lewandowski: Ribery wanted to go to Real Madrid too

Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller explained his position on the desire of his colleague Robert Lewandowski to move to Barcelona during the summer transfer market.

The Polish striker, Bayern, has come out publicly and asked his team to let him leave this summer, amid news of a personal agreement between him and Barcelona.

And the newspaper “Kicker” quoted statements to the German international, in which he said: “I want the player who has been my teammate in attack for years to continue with us.”

He added: “We are in the summer break where we live a lot of events, but I remember when Franck Ribery wanted to go to Real Madrid.”

And Muller continued: “Any player who will be present on September 1 with Bayern will perform well, no one wants to play unsatisfactorily.”

He concluded: “Our relationship on the field is known to everyone, but in our world everything is subject to change, the most important thing is the club.”

What is the current situation between Bayern and its scorer?

A number of Bavarian club officials recently left and confirmed that Bayern Munich did not intend to waste the Polish player.

And Lewandowski publicly announced while he was with his country that he had no intention of continuing with Bayern, and his desire to leave.
