Mujdat Saglam, reality TV star, indicted for fraud

On Instagram, he immortalizes his stays in heavenly areas, films himself in the gym, poses alongside beautiful cars. But this ostentatious way of life, typical of influencers from the small screen, might it have been partly maintained illegally? Former reality TV contestant Mujdat Saglam was taken into police custody on Wednesday and charged in connection with a fraud case, according to information from 20 Minutes confirmed to the Parisian.

Known for his passage in the “Princes and Princesses of Love”, Mujdat Saglam, now an influencer on social networks and followed by 600,000 people, was arrested and placed in police custody on Tuesday. He was indicted on Thursday for breach of trust, fraud, forgery and use of forgery, misuse of corporate assets, bankruptcy, money laundering and money laundering of tax evasion, confirms a judicial source. He was placed under judicial supervision.

The 35-year-old man is suspected of having drawn up false documents to obtain loans, develops a judicial source at 20 Minutes. The entrepreneur would also have issued false transfer orders, would have had goods delivered for which he would then not have paid, and would have obtained a double bank loan.

Already known to justice

The damage of these presumed facts is estimated at approximately 2 million euros.

The former reality TV candidate, also known for his past relationship with the star Milla Jasmine (he was then nicknamed “the guy in Milla”), has already had trouble with the law. In February 2020, the contractor had been taken into custody with his brothers following a brawl in Essonne.

An altercation had broken out in the town of Grigny between the Saglam family, owner of a business, and another family who had solicited the contractor’s family for work. A shot was then fired in the air during the clash, triggering the mobilization of police on the spot, but causing no injuries.
