Muhammad Mohsen and Nouran Abu Talib shine at the Citadel Festival with traditional and contemporary songs

Reflecting the creative diversity that characterizes the 30th session of the Salah El-Din Castle International Festival of Music and Singing, an evening was held at Al-Mahki Theater, which included traditional and contemporary Arab lyrical colors and Western music that was admired and applauded.

Among the icons of Tarab, Mohamed Mohsen chose a group of giant works to bring to mind the atmosphere of the time of beautiful art.

Before him and with her angelic voice, Nouran Abu Talib succeeded in performing a lyrical blend that collected famous works that achieved a distinguished position in the conscience of the Egyptian and Arab audience, in addition to a number of her own works, including Ishki Lamin, Fawazeer, Oh Ghaly, How are you, Fly, O Hawa, under the Yasmina, and I swear to God that there is no sun Oh, Lalali, windows, on my mind, Laila, and others.

The Cairo Opera Group for Chamber Music, under the supervision and with the participation of Maestro Medhat Abdel Samie, had presented a number of the most important international works written for violin and cello instruments. The State Prize for the Young Creator, Fantasy by Paganini and played by Jana Samer (15 years) on one chord only as it was set by its author, and one of Sarsat’s works that contains parts full of lyrical music and was played by Rana Abdel Wahab (7 years).
