Dhawiya: We’re in a much better place now. Muhammad has made significant progress, and I’m proud of him. I’m still very involved in his life, making sure he stays on track.It’s not always smooth sailing—I still worry when he’s late or unreachable—but we’ve come a long way.

Dhawiya: First, lean on your support system—family, friends, or even professionals. You can’t do it alone. Second, approach the situation with empathy.
