Artist cut Mohamed Abdelrahman “Tota” details his treatment journey following he underwent an open heart operation, during his hosting in the “With You” program, presented by the media, Mona El-Shazly.

Abdel Rahman said that the story began a long time ago, as he was feeling tired and sporadic pain, but as usual for many Egyptians, he ignored it, preferring not to go to the doctors, but when he returned one day from filming the movie “The General Call,” he found himself greatly tired, He added: “I felt that my chest was so tired, I was coughing continuously and behind each other, and I mightn’t.. I said no to a hospital left, because the oxygen was less and my heart beat fast.”

He continued: “I went to my oxygen and the next day I had a photo shoot. They told me that it will not work to go out today. You will graduate tomorrow. I said OK, until the followingnoon, the oxygen was back once more and the world was beautiful. Suddenly the doctor said to them to increase the reassurance, do an Echo for the heart. We discovered that the heart is only 33% working.” They told me that an exploratory catheter should be performed, and he said that I needed an open-heart surgery.

He added, “What happened was a great need, but our Lord kept it cool and peaceful, especially if I was also a smoker… I mean, I have a bad habit.”

He concluded: “The operation took 7 hours, and I had a blockage in 3 arteries.”
