The Arab artist confirmed that he owes great credit to living between their history and that he was always with them
Arab artist, Muhammad Abdo, apologized to my family and fans of the late Abu Bakr Salem Balfaqih and Talal Maddah, once morest the background of statements he made during his speech to a television program.
In a video clip, Muhammad Abdo sent a message of love and apology on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to the family and audience of the late artists, indicating that he owed them great credit, and was always with them in joys and sorrows.
The statements of the artist, Muhammad Abdo, on the “Stage” program presented by the journalist Ali Al-Olayani, provoked wide reactions on social networking sites, by criticizing the legacy of his late competitors. Abdo gave up any reservations in the meeting, and considered that Maddah and Salem “did not present any significant national legacy during their artistic career.” And he was not satisfied with that, but considered that the melody of the song “My Beloved Country” by Talal Maddah was “stolen”, and that the lyrics of the song “Ya Baladi, I pray” by Salem “do not reach the level of being a song for the homeland.”
In his apology, the Arab artist admitted that the television interview was sharp, adding: “I hope to allow their families, loved ones and fans to excuse me for that expression that was only artistic.” He continued, “I apologize to you, including those who are my loved ones, who always excuse me for all our jokes, we found and we made jokes, and God’s mercy be upon them, virtuous professors whose arrow does not strike them technically and morally.”
