“Chelsea” Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk lost “Servette” in the second leg of the 2024/25 Conference League playoff qualifying round. The match in Switzerland ended with a score of 2:1.
The English club took the lead in the 14th minute of the match – Christopher Nkunku converted a penalty kick earned by Mudryk.
In the 32nd minute, the home team equalized the score in the match with the efforts of Jeremy Guillemeno. And in the second half, the Swiss club even scored the winning goal – Enzo Crivelli scored in the 72nd minute.
It should be noted that Mudryk was in the starting line-up of “Chelsea” and spent 73 minutes on the field, after which he was replaced by Cole Palmer.
Despite the defeat in this match, it was the London club that reached the main stage of the Conference League. According to the results of the two-match confrontation, Enzo Mareschi’s wards turned out to be bluer (3:2), because in the home game “blues” won the victory with a score of 2:0.
The draw for the main round of the Conference League will take place on Friday, August 30, at 15:30 Kyiv time.
