There is officially nothing new in the Luke Mockridge case – the investigation once morest the comedian was closed in 2020.

However, various details are still worth talking regarding – Hazel Brugger recently made a longer statement on X, formerly Twitter.

Now Mockridge has replied to her via Instagram.

The Luke Mockridge case continues to concern us and is now being played out as a public dispute between the 34-year-old and Hazel Brugger (29). In an Instagram post with the caption “Man Hazel,” Mockridge says: “You publish one statement following another, all of which contradict each other, you do the podcasts – I don’t care regarding any of that. There’s one thing I’m really allergic to and that’s if you want to define why I was in the clinic. In your most recent statement you wrote that you knew nothing regarding my psychological problems at the comedy award. That’s a lie.”

Brugger, on the other hand, wrote in her last statement on “X” (formerly Twitter): “Whoever spreads the story, we have ours “T-shirt campaign” at the Luke Mockridges Comedy Prize 2021 “He heard the alleged health situation and deliberately wanted to drive him to suicide, spread false statements of fact and had to expect legal consequences.” As a reminder at this point: Hazel and Thomas appeared at the 2021 German Comedy Award ceremony in a black T-shirt with the imprint “Consequences for Comedian XY”. Their aim was to protect Hazel’s friend, Ines Anioli, and to set an example.

So begins the Luke Mockridge Cause

Comedian Ines Anioli (36), who was in a relationship with Mockridge from autumn 2017 to March 2019, made serious allegations of rape once morest her ex-partner. Mockridge had always denied the allegations. The Cologne public prosecutor’s office stopped the investigation in 2020 following months of examining the facts. In August 2021, Mockridge contacted his fans for the first time following months of silence. A month later, “Der Spiegel” published new allegations once morest the comedian under the title “The Mockridge Files”. Other women were quoted accusing him of sexual misconduct. Mockridge lost all engagements and took action once morest Spiegel with allegations of suspicious reporting, for which he was proven right by a court in Hamburg. As a result, essential passages in the Spiegel article had to be deleted.

Luke Mockridge was involuntarily committed

But Mockridge now says that it is a fact that he ended up in the clinic partly because of Brugger’s activities “and her wife”. In the podcast “If I had known that earlier” by his friends Joyce Ilg (39) and Chris Halb12 He recently spoke regarding being forcibly committed.

Just last week, Hazel Brugger published a longer statement on X (formerly Twitter). It said, among other things, that the comedian was running a PR campaign and that there were allegations that she and her husband Thomas Spitzer (34) wanted to cancel him – in the statements he referred to the book “Falsely Suspected” by Alexander Stevens supported, in which an entire chapter was devoted to the Mockridge case. Brugger describes in the statement that the book is irrelevant and not objective. Ines Anioli has already successfully complained regarding the reporting on the book.
