This is the little news of the day that will please. As we all anxiously await the Intel graphics cards pour nos PC fixes, MSI just listed one with a Intel Arc A380. Concretely, this MSI PC uses an Intel Alder Lake processor with variants under i3-12100F up to i7-12700KF. All of these PCs have this GPU and power supplies ranging from 550W to 650W, so the GPU shouldn’t be a power drain.
The first tower computer equipped with an Intel Arc graphics card is shown
It was at the major Chinese retailer JD that this reference appeared. This shows that the debut of these graphics cards is doing well in the Chinese market via OEM partners. This is the first known computer including such a graphics card. This PC is also displayed as being in pre-order, but there is no information concerning the price or the date of availability. On the other hand, we learn that this Intel Arc A380 graphics card will be equipped with 6 GB of GDDR6 type memory. It also means a memory bus of 96 bits complete, which is not the case for the mobile variants (limited to 4 GB/64 bits). Recall that the Intel Arc A380 GPU should be equipped with a GPU ACM-G11 complete with 8-core Xe.
Similarly, JD does not specify the brand of the graphics card, but here it is very likely that it is a design from MSI. Indeed, the name includes the word “OC”, which implies a custom model with factory overclocking.
We also find a fairly brief visual regarding the performance of this PC. This shows four games in which we go from 85 to 200 FPS, this in an FHD definition (1920 x 1080 pixels).
