We know MSI for its quality products, whether it’s its PCs or its high-end gaming monitors, the high-tech giant knows what it’s got, and shows it well. Today, MSI presents its two new monsters to us, portable PC gamers which embed what is best at the moment.
The MSI Titan GT77 and MSI Raider GE77HX gaming laptops: what is the monster in the belly?
We start with the MSI Titan GT77, the 3 Kg beast embeds one of the most powerful hardware of the moment. At its heart, we find an i9-12900HX with its 16 physical cores which can reach 5 GHz in boost.
MSI does not do things by halves, and couples this overpowered chip to an Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti, simply one of the best performing graphics cards of this year. If you are looking for the ultimate, but nomadic war machine, you will be able to enjoy Ray-tracing and DLSS without any problem thanks to this MSI Titan GT77.
For the grip, the PC is equipped with a mechanical keyboard signed Steelseries with individual backlighting, just to customize each part of your keyboard.
The screen is one of the other strong points of the machine since it is a 17-inch IPS panel in 4K 3840×2160, and all this at 120 Hz.
For storage, MSI does not do things by halves, because this PC benefits from four M.2 slots, including one compatible with the PCIe Gen5 standard. For RAM, you should know that this PC can reach 128 GB of RAM, there is plenty to do.
Raw power, and a display that knows how to show it, is what MSI wanted.
We now move on to its little brother, the MSI Raider GE77HX.
The laptop is shown with a shell and a thinner chassis than its comrade, still with a 17-inch IPS panel, but this time in 1440p (2560x1440p). In exchange, this QHD screen can top out at 240 Hz.
To take off this beautiful little world, the configuration remains very solid, even if it is less muscular than its counterpart. Thereby, the beast purrs an RTX 3070 Ti paired with an i7-12800HX clocked at 4.8 GHz. On the storage side, you’ll have room with this 1TB NVMe SSD, knowing that you can always add another one, just in case.
Very high-end MSI PCs for a price that is just as high
With these characteristics and the preparation of other variants such as the GE77HX with a Full HD 360 Hz IPS panel, it is obvious that the price greatly exceeds the equivalent of the same configuration in a fixed version.
You will need a very full purse to take advantage of these MSI gaming laptops, because the Titan GT77 will be available for the modest sum of 3200€, and its companion the Raider GE77HX at 2500€.‘
As for the release dates, the two war machines will point the end of their LED at the end of this month of June.
