The atmosphere was festive this 1is May 2023 at the Presidency of the Togolese Republic on the occasion of the celebration of Workers’ Day. An opportunity for officials and agents of the first institution of the State, to reaffirm once once more their commitment to work alongside the President of the Republic Faure Gnassingbé, for the realization of his vision set out in the Togo-Government Roadmap 2025.
It was Minister Sandra Ablamba Johnson, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, who presided over the festivities in the presence of staff from the Presidency of the Republic and related institutions.
Mrs. Sandra Ablamba Johnson took the opportunity to recall the place of choice that the agents of the Presidency of the Republic have in all the development actions of the Head of State. She also returned to the measures taken by the Head of State in favor of the continuous improvement of the living and working conditions of agents and civil servants of the State, before urging all the staff to work well done. .
“The ambition of the President of the Republic is to have quality human resources for better implementation of the Togo 2025 Government Roadmap. And he continues to multiply initiatives so that the fruits of our country’s growth be shared fairly and equitably,” she said.
“This is why I invite you to further promote the love of a job well done, responsibility, team spirit, civic engagement and excellence in everything we have to do, in everything that we will be entrusted to do”, specified the Minister.
She did not fail to congratulate the staff for their dedication and exemplary behavior, and also to express her gratitude to the agents admitted to retirement for their loyalty and the sacrifices they made in building the country.
In return, the staff spokesperson expressed his gratitude to the Head of State for his social policy and the particular attention he pays to the world of work, to State agents, particularly those of the Presidency of the Republic. He reiterated the staff’s commitment to redouble their efforts to achieve the objectives set for each department.
Message from Faure Gnassingbé to workers
It should be added that on the occasion of this celebration, the Head of State wished a happy holiday to all the workers of the different sectors of the country. He also sent his congratulations to the social partners for the improvements made to working conditions, through dialogue and consultation.
