The personnel revolution continues. Next season, GKS Tychy will not be represented by Christian Mroczkowski, who has spent the last five years in the tricolor team.
“Mroczek”, as he is called by his colleagues and Tychy fans, joined the team from the “beer city” before the 2019/2020 season. His first season on Polish waters was very successful, as he won the Canadian classification with 60 points (27 goals, 33 assists).
The 29-year-old winger won the Polish championship, two Polish Cups and the Polish Super Cup with the GKS team. In total, he played 262 league matches, in which he collected 258 points. This achievement included 110 goals and 148 key plays.
Last season Mroczkowski he did not show the productivity for which he was known. In 52 matches, he defeated rival goalkeepers fourteen times and assisted his teammates’ goals 16 times. He spent 37 minutes in the penalty box.
On the other hand, only Alan Łyszczarczyk (55 points), Filip Komorski (37) and Bartłomiej Jeziorski (35) had better points.
