MrLumbia’s progressive government has completed a year of changes. Gustavo Petro was inaugurated as the 34th President of the Republic of Colombia on August 7, 2022. The government has demonstrated its commitment to the people through timely interventions on popular issues. The Colombian people have also reaffirmed their support for the government’s desire for comprehensive change by accepting national development plans. People embraced the slogan of Gustavo Petro’s kingdom as ‘the world power of life’.
Domestic, regional and international factors mark the government’s 12 months of activity. Along with this, it outlines the development to be achieved in the next three years. Farmers, indigenous peoples and poor people became the first priority in Petro regime’s reforms. The Colombian government also highlighted the importance of reopening borders and re-establishing diplomatic relations. He also took the initiative to strengthen Colombia-Venezuela relations.
