The MPS had also accelerated things, by designating it, in mid-January, in the wake of the “yes” victory in the constitutional referendum, before initiating discussions with a view to this coalition for a United Chad which promises a “ resounding victory » to the head of the transition.

« Anyone who wants to be crushed just has to pass in front of us “, said the boss of the MPS, Mahamat Zène Bada, before adding “ We’ll give you 65% of the votes, you’ll get the rest. »

Mahamat Idriss Déby was sober. He praised the “ resilience » of Chadians and defended the work of the transition, mainly the maintenance of the stability of the country in a sub-region “ where a single spark can light an entire country ” he said.

Yaya Dillo’s death not mentioned

The events of the week marked by the death of Yaya Dillo, Wednesday February 28, during the assault on the headquarters of the opponent’s party, the head of state refrained from referring to these events.
