Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz says that Members of Punjab Assembly (MPAs) are a powerhouse for me, but I offended everyone for following the principles of merit.
In a meeting with police officers across the province, Maryam Nawaz said that no RPO, DPO or SHO has been recommended in four months. Police officers were not appointed at the request of any member of the assembly. We are fulfilling all the requirements of the police. They are being provided with all the modern equipment they need. Now the work must be done.
Chief Minister of Punjab appointed “Key Performance Indicator” to evaluate the performance of police officers. Police officers will get marks for outstanding performance in handling public complaints, FIR, charge sheet, no go area, search operation, kite flying and prevention of firing, arrest of persons involved in serious crimes.
The chief minister ordered the top police officers to closely monitor the SHOs and other officers and to depute police personnel of good reputation at the inter-provincial check posts.
