The Attorney General, Towing William Saabannounced that they will appoint prosecutors to investigate an alleged attack on the data transmission system of the National Electoral Council (CNE) on Sunday, July 28.
“There are attempts to sabotage the electrical system and a cyber attack against the CNE transmission system that slowed down the sending of data,” he said.

The prosecutor has named opposition leader Lester Toledo as the main person involved in the event.
The prosecutor rejected attempts at interference and reckless statements by Latin American governments that have cautiously observed the CNE results.
The official expressed his concern about the lack of recognition of the election results, and will therefore be monitoring the situation.
“We note that acts of violence and failure to recognize election results violate several Venezuelan laws,” he said.
Saab said that by last night, 60 incidents had been recorded during the electoral process, resulting in 17 arrests. The most frequent cases were for the destruction of electoral material, with 32 cases.
