MP Sandrine Josso Scandal: Taxi Driver’s Testimony and Latest Updates

2023-11-23 05:52:00

MP Sandrine Josso has filed a complaint against Senator Joël Guerrriau, whom she accuses of having drugged her with a view to sexually assaulting her. The taxi driver who took the elected official to the National Assembly after an evening with the senator testified.

A week ago, Thursday November 16, 2023, Senator Joël Guerriau was arrested at his Parisian home and taken into custody by the judicial police. Parliamentarian Sandrine Josso accuses him of having drugged her without her knowledge.

One day later, Friday November 17, Joël Guerriau was indicted and placed under judicial supervision, then suspended from his political family and his parliamentary group and forced to “withdraw” from his parliamentary activities.

He remains anonymous

Wednesday November 22, Sandrine Josso greeted the taxi which “saved” her life, in her own words. If the latter does not wish to testify publicly, he has agreed to tell BFM, on condition of anonymity, how he experienced this evening. The driver indicates that he saw a customer arrive and a man next to him who “came almost to the car. He said to her, ‘Have a good evening.’ She did not respond,” he testified to our colleagues.

He offers to take her “to a doctor”

As he begins to drive, Sandrine Josso confides to the driver that something happened to her in the evening. The latter understands that his client is not in a “normal” state and offers “immediately to take her to a doctor or to the hospital but she told me that she had warned colleagues who were waiting for her at the Assembly.”

“I don’t want praise”

The taxi driver then waited with Sandrine Josso in front of the Assembly for one of his colleagues to arrive. “She was really bad,” he says, noting that he continued the conversation while making sure she didn’t pass out. The MP will then be taken to hospital where she will test positive for ecstasy.

“I don’t want praise. I want to continue my little life, as usual,” the taxi driver told BFM.

As the case is currently under investigation, Joël Guerriau is still presumed innocent.
