MP requests files related to the Vamos party from the TSE

The Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) had five days to deliver three requests made by the Electoral Crimes Prosecutor’s Office related to the political party of former president Alejandro Giammattei, Vamos, official sources reported this Tuesday, March 5.
The note, dated March 1 and received March 4, in which the Public Ministry (MP) makes requests to the TSE, has the heading “Electoral Crimes Prosecutor’s Office, criminal prosecution team one” and it states It details three requests, although they do not explain which case they are part of.
The document, addressed to the secretary general of the TSE, requests “to instruct the appropriate person and send the requested documentation as soon as possible or within a period of FIVE (5) DAYS.”
The MP requires from the TSE the “complete original file of the formation of the VAMOS Promoting Group, the complete original file of the Committee for the formation of the VAMOS political party and the complete original file of the Constitution of the VAMOS political party.”
In the request, the MP highlights that it is based on the Political Constitution of the Republic, the Electoral and Political Parties Law and the Criminal Procedure Code.
He adds that this information will serve to “adhere to the investigation that is being carried out”; However, they do not detail which case it corresponds to.
The MP was consulted regarding what case this request corresponds to, but they have not yet responded.
