Shenzhen, China (ots/PRNewswire) – At the 2023 Huawei Global Analyst Summit, Huawei held a session entitled “Stride to Net5.5G, Boost New Growth” to share technology trends and future use cases with industry partners and customers, and discuss the development direction of Net5.5G together.
Qiu Yuefeng, vice president of Huawei’s data communications product line, said that with increasing digitalization, every person, family and business will soon have access to 10Gbps. Net5.5G offers end-to-end technological innovations for better adaptation to different service scenarios. For example, in 2C, 2H, and 2B scenarios, Net5.5G leverages a variety of cutting-edge technologies such as 800GE Converged Bearer Network, 800GE Digital Private Network, 800GE AI Fabric Data Center Network (DCN), and next-generation WiFi to provide anytime, anywhere one enable network access with 10 Gbit/s.
Many bandwidth-intensive services such as High Definition (HD) videos and Extended Reality (XR) are created in 2C and 2H scenarios. To better support these new services, mobile and fixed networks are evolving towards 5.5G and F5.5, respectively, through innovations in ultra-wideband technology. In order to keep up, the data communication network as the basic carrier network is striving for a converged 800GE carrier network to provide ultimate 10Gbps service experience in these scenarios.
In the 2B scenario, more and more differentiated requirements are placed on network performance as the industry becomes more digital. This is where Net5.5G comes into play. Leveraging 800GE (Leveraging 800GE) Digital Private Network technology, Net5.5G can build differentiated digital service carrier networks for various industries. With the latest generation WLAN (WLAN 7) and high-density 10GE switches, Net5.5G can provide 10Gbps network access for all services in enterprise campus networks. With the “cloudification” of industry services, the application experience also depends on how quickly the cloud responds to service requests. Using 800GE AI Fabric DCN technology, Net5.5G enables real-time interaction between cloud applications and data, ensuring a lossless service experience for end users.
Rome wasn’t built in a day. As Qiu Yuefeng pointed out, Net5.5G will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible to better support the digitization of the industry. Meanwhile, Huawei will continue to work with global industry partners to explore the development direction of Net5.5G and promote the vigorous development of Net5.5G.
At the meeting, many high-level guests shared their insights, e.g. B. Yang Tao, Secretary General of the World WLAN Application Alliance (WAA), Ma Ke from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and Professor Fan Chun from Peking University. Together they discussed the important role of networks in facilitating digital transformation in various industries, as well as the challenges and countermeasures of data communication networks in enabling digital transformation in various industries. In addition, they gave an outlook and suggestions for the development of the data communications industry.
